Protect Every Newborn with a Secure Embrace.
Guadalupe Regional Medical Center is privileged to care for over 800 newborns and their families each year at our Birthing Center and nursery. Care is provided by a board certified neonatologist, obstetricians, maternal fetal medicine consultants, and a highly skilled staff of RNs, dietician, and lactation consultant. Our geographical range is wide, reaching beyond Seguin city limits to adjacent rural areas.
Our facility's expectations is to continually provide patient care with state-of-the-art equipment. Our extensive research for a replacement has led us to the Stanley Hugs Wi-Fi infant security system. This system has been a leader in the field, has a projected life span of at least 15 years, and is highly reliable. The system can be expanded in the future, and can integrate with our hospital-wide WestCom Nurse Call system. This would allow for real time voice alerts and option to provide security for other pediatric patients in the hospital outside of the nursery. Assuming a minimum of 800 deliveries a year, at least 12,000 infants would benefit from the security of this system over the next 15 years.
GRMC is committed to continually expanding the breadth and scope of its services to meet the needs of its patients locally. Your contribution will make a significant difference in our ability to replace this critically important patient care technology to provide a safe and secure level of care for all of our mothers at GRMC.
Help us reach our goal of $2,500 to offer advanced protection and safety for 800 newborns at GRMC!
