Why your year end donation matters

This year, our end-of-year request is to raise $60,000 for patient room furniture in the eleven rooms of our Inpatient Rehab Unit (IPRU).   The IPRU provides post-hospitalization care for those who are recovering from strokes, hip fractures, multiple sclerosis, joint replacements, amputations, cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation, and other serious conditions.

Patients and family members who have experience with this unit attest that its therapists, nurses, and multi-disciplinary team are PASSIONATE about ensuring that their patients return to their home safely and confidently,  and gush praise for the staff’s professionalism and kindness.   The IPRU has been called a God-send, a restorer of independence and dignity, and a game-changer for those overcoming a significant medical event.
