The GRMC Birthing Center is privileged to care for over 800 newborns and their families each year, serving a wide geographic range beyond Seguin and Guadalupe County. The GRMC Birthing Center has received several national awards, including from Healthgrades, Women's Choice, and Leapfrog, for excellent patient outcomes, safety, and patient satisfaction.

The state-of-the-art Stanley Real Time Location System platform provides an immediate impact for quality care and timely response to newborn infants and mothers in the Birthing Center. The system allows for increased efficiency in staff communication and documentation, thereby increasing newborn safety and freeing the nurses to provide more attention and time to our precious patients.
